CALL FOR ABSTRACTS

I would like to extend an invitation to all physiotherapy educators – academics, clinical educators and physiotherapists involved in community and patient education – to join us for the ISEP Conference in 2007 immediately following the WCPT Congress. This will be held at The University of British Columbia from 7-8 June. At past meetings we have had representatives from all over the globe which has enriched all who have attended.

There is a link on the WCPT Congress website to the ISEP website and further information on the conference. The focus of the conference this time is ‘ Physiotherapy Education for a Global Community' .

In line with this we would like to ask people to submit papers that address topics on this theme. Everybody's contributions are valued and enable us all to learn from each others' experiences. We would particularly like to hear from people setting up new programs in countries where physiotherapy is not necessarily well established. For those of you who have not presented before at conferences we would be very pleased to assist you in developing your talk. This educators' conference is generally quite informal and an excellent place to meet with other educators and share experiences. We hope that that you can be there in 2007.

Submission of Abstracts

• The abstract structure and format described in WCPT's call for abstracts should be used. The WCPT Call for Abstracts including sample abstracts can be found here.
  
  Please note that WCPT used an on line submission process for its congress in Vancouver and the process is now closed. For the ISEP conference we are asking you to use the WCPT information as a resource only.

• Abstracts for ISEP must be submitted by email to: abstracts @isep.org.au by end of April 2007

• Papers will be 15 minutes with 5 minutes of questions.

• We will accept as many papers as we can.

• Papers that are descriptive as well as research projects will be accepted.
